About Sensory Space
Marsden Library's Sensory Space is a hands-on environment for families and children of all abilities . It provides users the opportunity to explore and learn together using their senses.
This space was developed in partnership with sector and industry specialists; and funded by the State Library of Queensland's Vision 2017 Grant and the Logan City Council.
Families and children from 0-12 are welcome to use the free equipment whenever they visit the Marsden Library.
Play groups, schools, and childcare centres or other groups are also welcome; but will need to book.
Sensory Space events are offered.
There is also a bookable sensory room available for people of all ages and abilities. You can use our free sensory equipment in this room.
Our friendly library team can assist with booking the room and showing you the equipment.
