About Jimboomba Library
Jimboomba Library was officially opened on February 16, 2001 as part of Beaudesert Shire Council. The building was originally thought to be haunted, and required several carpet changes to rid the unrestful spirits.
The thought of ghosts haven't kept the locals away, with an influx of little feet and prams on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, the exciting trudge of the school shoes after 3pm, and a variety of shoes of all shapes and sizes in between and all around.
We're still slightly mad, but there's lot of fun to be had by everyone.
