Online video music lessons for a variety of instruments and music styles for all learning levels. Each course in ArtistWorks has a massive video lesson library covering everything from basic fundamentals to advanced techniques. From guitar to piano, banjo, ukulele, and beyond, you will find high quality instruction to teach you how to play.

Artistworks is available from Overdrive's Libby app, both on desktop and mobile.

Or, access Libby from your desktop.

Connect with Libby for desktop OR download the Libby app to your device.

  • In Libby, follow the prompts to find Logan City Council Libraries and sign in with your library card and PIN/Password.
  • Within the Libby library, scroll down until you find 'EXTRAS.'
  • Click ArtistWorks > Open! > Get Access.
  • Click Continue to Artisworks.
  • You will now have access to ArtistWorks for 30 days. Once 30 days is up you will simply need to gain access to ArtistWorks through the Libby app again by repeating the above steps.
  • Scroll through the list of courses available and choose a lesson. You can then work through the video lessons at your own pace, starting with the introductory videos.
  • At any time you may click the i icon to get help with playback.

Using the Video Loop:

  • As the video lesson plays, users have the option of looping a section of the video and playing along.
  • To use this function click and drag the red banding arrows to set a start and end point for a loop, then click the loop icon.
  • Alternatively click the i icon for assistance.
