Many parts of the Greenbank area consists of low density, acreage style living in a semi-rural community with a larger proportion of families consisting of couples with young children (ABS).
Greenbank Library was originally housed in the old school building at the Greenbank State School. In 1985 the library relocated to the Greenbank Community Centre complex and several years later was then extended by at least a third of its floor space.
Attached to the Greenbank Community Centre complex, Greenbank Library is wheelchair accessible and has 2 disability parking spaces. Public toilets, with disability access, are located within the complex’s carpark.
Special technologies in the library include Keys-U-See-Keyboard and a trackball mouse.
The Greenbank Library Book Club meets at 9 am at the Greenbank Library on the second Saturday of the month.
