Community Languages
The City of Logan is a diverse community. According to the 2021 census, 18% of people speak a language other than English at home.
Logan City Council libraries offer books, magazines, DVDs and CDs in different languages.

Logan City Council Libraries offers help with general literacy including reading, writing and basic numeracy.
Adult literacy sessions are conducted on a one-to-one basis and are available to both native English speakers and individuals from non-English speaking backgrounds.
Come along to one of our English Conversation Circles. Improve your English speaking skills and meet new people.
All libraries have a Learning Materials collection which contains material for people who need assistance in learning English or developing literacy or numeracy skills. The collection includes workbooks, graded readers, high interest/low skill material, computer software and audio visual material designed to improve the literacy skills of both English speaking and non-English speaking people.
