Teddy Bear Toast

Skill Level: Easy

Younger children may need some assistance

Ingredients

  • Slices of bread (toasted if desired)
  • A suitable spread: Nutella, Honey, Peanut Butter
  • Sliced Banana
  • Sultanas or dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Take your bread slices and cover them with spread
  2. Nutella for Brown Bears, Honey for Honey Bears and Peanut Butter for Teddy Bears
  3. Place sliced banana on the bread as ears and a nose
  4. Sultanas or cranberries for eyes and nostrils
  5. Enjoy with your favourite teddy!

Teddy Bear Fairy Bread

Skill Level: Easy

Younger children may need some assistance

Ingredients

  • Slices of bread
  • Margarine or butter
  • Sprinkles
  • Teddy bear shaped cookie cutter

Instructions

  1. Take your bread slices and cover with margarine or butter
  2. Shake sprinkles on bread, or place sprinkles on a plate and press bread slices downward
  3. Place two pieces of bread together, with sprinkles inside
  4. Use cookie cutter to make a teddy bear shape
  5. Separate the slices into individual teddies
  6. Enjoy with your favourite teddy!

Teddy Bear Pancakes

Skill Level: Intermediate

Younger and pre-teen children will require assistance

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250g) self-raising flour
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup of milk
  • Margarine or butter
  • Sliced banana, cream, or ice cream
  • Berries of choice or chocolate buttons

Instructions

  1. Place first three ingredients into a bowl
  2. Mix with a whisk until well combined
  3. Melt margarine or butter in a hot pan
  4. Pour batter onto hot pan to make one large circle and two small circles (parent help may be required)
  5. Place circles on plate to form a bear face
  6. Add banana, cream or ice cream to ears and to form a nose
  7. Add berries or chocolate to form eyes and nostrils
  8. Enjoy with your favourite teddy!
