Dear Library Customer,

At Logan City Council Libraries, the well-being of the community is our highest priority.

Logan City Council Libraries are open for the community to borrow items and use computers. For the safety and good health of everyone, library customers are encouraged to use the self-service loan machines and self-serve computer booking and printing services.

In the best interest of our customers and staff, all library visitors are asked to practice good hygiene techniques. This includes washing hands, staying home if you are unwell and maintaining appropriate space between you and other people.

If you are unable to visit a library, Logan City Council Libraries offers a wide range of online resources available to use from home. Online services includes e-books and audiobooks; streaming TV, movie and music services; classes and digital subscriptions to newspapers and magazines. These services are available through the eResources page.

To help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and protect the health and safety of our community, staff and volunteers, Logan City Council Libraries have reviewed the events held at libraries and will suspend a number of library events.

To find out what events are cancelled please phone your local library or visit the What's On page.

If you are unwell and cannot return your library items please do not worry. The due date on all items currently on loan will be extended to 30 June 2020 and Logan Libraries does not charge fines for any items returned late.

We know how much the community values the services provided at our Libraries and we will continue to work with the advice Logan City Council receives from the Australian Government Department of Health and Queensland Health to inform the services we provide and to ensure the well-being of our library users and staff.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time and thank you for your continued understanding and support.

With kind regards,
Logan City Council Libraries
