In May every year, libraries and information services throughout Australia showcase their many and varied resources and services through different programs and events targeted to a cross-section of the community.
Library and Information Week aims to raise the profile of libraries and information service professionals in Australia and will be held from 20 – 26 May 2012. Step out with Shakespeare: Beenleigh Library is holding a Shakespearean literary event where patrons can immerse themselves with readings. Prizes can won. Bookings essential.

Johnny Marsh adventures: escape with sci-fi and horror author Kev Webb and illustrator Anthony Putty at Logan Central library. Investigating eBooks: are you interested in eBooks but unsure if they are for you? This informative session will examine eReaders and eBooks, and how you can access these through your local library. Bookings essential.
