Looking for a good read? Good Reading is Australia’s favourite print and electronic magazine for book lovers, and it’s available at your library! You can access Good Reading online, the electronic version of the magazine, within the library, and also from your home computer. Meet new authors or get to know some familiar ones better, discover intriguing book facts, taste test the latest books with regular extracts, enter fantastic competitions, find book related events and read independent reviews of books from all genres. The online magazine looks just like the printed version, but you can use the search function to look for articles about your favourite books or authors, and read past issues you may have missed. You can also click on any book mentioned to find out more about that book. Good Reading is giving you the opportunity to win $100 worth of books! To enter, log into Good Reading online, and answer the question below. Which American author does GR profile in the article ‘Let there be light’, on page 12 of the August 2009 issue? Send your answer, along with your name and contact details to libraries@logan.qld.gov.au by 31 August. To start browsing, you can log in to Good Reading online from our Database page.
