Summer reading success

Over summer, Logan Libraries called for all young explorers to take part in the Summer Reading Club, which was run in partnership with the State Library of Queensland. Children were taken on a world-wide adventure through interactive creative writing, as well as exciting arts activities and online games which encourage a love of books and reading as well as literacy and computer skills.

Logan Hyperdome Library gave away a book prize every week during the Summer Reading session. Shown right is a photo of five-year-old Lauren Chewter, who was one of the winners for January. Lauren won Mega Missions, which is four books from the Zac Power series by H. I. Larry published in one. Congratulations Lauren!
