Logan Central new premises moving forward

Logan Central’s new library premises are now starting to take shape. The outside has been given a fresh coat of paint and the carpark is nearing completion. A major internal wall has been put in place.

The hole made in the external wall for the top level Community rooms is shown here, and preparation of the floor was carried out for installing extra columns required to support the mezzanine floor.

Demolition of the ramp is to allow construction of a new staircase that will go up to the mezzanine floor and create more floor area below, which in turn will become the Returns room.
