Ikebana artistry

22 February 2010

Logan Hyperdome Library’s latest Topical Tea, Ikebana: the art of Japanese flower arrangement, was held on Wednesday 3 February 2010 and drew a keen and willing crowd. The event was presented by Pat Mackie from the Sogetsu Ikebana Association Brisbane/Gold Coast Inc. Many thanks to Pat for demonstrating her talents to those who attended. Everyone left feeling proud of their Ikebana arrangements and enthusiastic about what they would create next. Congratulations to Di Robinson for winning the lucky door book prize entitled The Complete Guide to Flower Arranging by Jane Packer.
