Logan North Library is now open!
8 August 2008Logan North Library moved location on the weekend of 2-3 August. The old library closed at 4pm Saturday and a team of workers from Queensland Library Supplies, Logan City Council Libraries and Information Services set about moving the library. The new Logan North Library at 2-6 Sports Drive, Underwood opened at 9am the following Monday. Councillor Lisa Bradley was on hand to greet the first patron through the door.
Borrowers and staff are very enthusiastic about the new facility which is one third bigger than the old library. New or expanded services include:

As of Tuesday 12 August, over 4500 people have visited the library, over 13,800 items have been issued, and 140 new members have joined. Click the images below for a closer look, or better yet - visit the library and use these wonderful new facilities! |

Just wanted to say that I LOVE the new library - it is so spacious and roomy. I love the lounges and coffee and TVs and study rooms and meeting rooms. And all the familiar friendly faces! I’m still trying to find my way around the book racks - but that’s fun too.
