Water, Trees and Roots: Stories from the Queensland Vietnamese Community

A new travelling exhibition at Logan Hyperdome Library traces the 30 year journey of Queensland’s Vietnamese community, offering a unique insight into the journeys, challenges, celebrations and valuable contributions to their new home. The exhibition features digital stories, historical excerpts and a number of images (most notably, from Operation Babylift). 

The Queensland Stories Program is creating a growing collection of digital stories which record and document the diversity of our lives as Queenslanders. These stories may be viewed online at:- http://www.qldstories.slq.qld.gov.au

Water, Trees and Roots will be available at Logan Hyperdome Library from 2 July 2009, closing 24 July 2009.
