New library for Logan Central!

Over the past 6 months (and more!), development has been progressing for the new library for Logan Central. A total revamp has been carried out on the building, including internal and external structures as well as the surrounding car park. The new Logan Central library will be located in Wilbur Street, Logan Central with completion expected to be early 2011.

Take a peek at how the construction has been going…

Digging around, flattening out and then graveled, tarred and painted with lines.

A lick of paint making a difference.

Plenty of car parking will be available.

Internal walls and a lift shaft’s beginnings.

This project has been jointly funded by Federal Government through the RLCIP Scheme and Logan City Council. Construction company Hutchinson Constructions, Architects Brand & Slater and Project Manager Opus.
