<p><em><strong>Library and Information Week</strong> aims to raise the profile of libraries and information service professionals in Australia</em> and will be held from <strong>20 &#8211; 26 May 2012</strong>. We are delighted to announce that the 2012 <em>Library and Information Week</em> theme is <strong>Think Outside the Book</strong>. For more information visit the <a title="ALIA" href="http://www.alia.org.au/liw/about.html" target="_blank">Australian Library &amp; Information Association</a> (ALIA).</p>
<p>Logan Libraries have included the following events at our branches for for Library and Information Week:</p>
<p><strong>Beenleigh </strong><a title="Step out with Shakespeare" href="http://libevents.logan.qld.gov.au/eventsignup.asp?ID=56386"><br />
Step out with Shakespeare</a>: Beenleigh Library is holding a Shakespearean literary event where patrons can immerse themselves with readings. Prizes can won. Bookings essential.</p>

History of your house</a>: did you ever wish to discover the history of  your house? Join our local studies librarian as he shows you how. Bookings essential.</p>
<p><strong>Logan Central</strong><br />

They will share their journey with the exciting Johnny Marsh adventure series that is full of supernatural beings, hideously gory events and plenty of action. Bookings essential.</p>
