Marsden Library is located in a purpose-built facility in an attractive parkland setting adjacent to the Marsden Park Shopping Centre. It opened on 25 September 2006 and serves a growing community of over 40,000 people in the suburbs of Marsden, Waterford West, Crestmead, Loganlea and Logan Reserve. From 1992 - 2006, the library was located in the adjacent Shopping Centre.
In 2015, following receipt of a State Library of Queensland Vision 2017 grant, the children's area was re-developed into a state-of-the-art 'Sensory Space', providing equipment, resources and programs to stimulate and inspire children, with and without special needs, to explore and learn using their senses.
The Marsden Ladies Book Club meets at 9.30 am at Marsden Library on the third Monday of the month.
The Marsden Library Book Club meets at 6 pm at Marsden Library on the second Thursday of the month.
