Join us as Meredith Webber, author of over 75 contemporary romance novels, shares her story of how she became an accomplished writer for publishing giant Mills & Boon. Library Display wins 1st prize!

Logan Central Library has taken out 1st prize in a nationwide Dummies photo competition co-ordinated by US publishing company, Wiley. The competition was designed to promote the For Dummies books in Australian libraries. Pamela Martin and staff at Logan Central Library had a brainstorming session with the Libraries Sponsorship & Promotions Coordinator, Nancy Wimbus, and came up with the idea of dressing themselves and a mannequin in black and yellow to complement the extensive display of For Dummies books held by Logan City Council Libraries. The photos tell the story. Logan Central has won for the library 50 Dummies books as well as a Dummies prize pack.
