Library and Information Week 2018 comes to Logan City Council Libraries!

Logan City Council Libraries will join organisations from Broome to Hobart celebrating Library and Information Week 2018.

Library and Information Week aims to raise the profile of libraries and information service professionals in Australian and showcase the many and varied resources and services that libraries provide to the community.

The event has been organised by the Australian Library and Information Association to promote the value of reading and literacy, the importance of Australia's book industry and the role of libraries.

You can join in Behind the Scenes tours at Logan North and Marsden Libraries.

Special guest Steve Parish will be visiting Logan Hyperdome and Logan North Libraries. Book now for these sessions.

Author Kristina Olsson will be speaking at Logan North Library. Join the award winning memoirist, as she helps you identify your significant moments and shows you how to recount them in the context of your broader life story.

Children's author Aleesah Darlison will visit Logan West Library. She will explain the nuances of working with illustrators and provide you with a solid foundation for developing a picture book ready for submission to publishers. Bookings essential.
